The Local 303 Council is comprised of the Executive Board Members and the Branch Presidents/Representatives
The Los Angeles Headquarters is the parent organization for multiple southern California branches and one branch in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Each Branch President is subject to the authority and direction of the Local President and is required to:
· Process grievances at step 1 and 2.
· Keep the local bulletin board current.
· Organize members into the Local Union.
· Conduct monthly or quarterly Labor Management meetings with the local installation head, including regularly scheduled safety and health committee meetings.
· Administer existing contracts covering their branch subject to the supervision of the Local President.
· Assists the Local President or designee in the negotiation of a Local Memorandum of Understanding.
· Submit a written monthly report to the Local President of all activities in the branch.
· Supervise shop stewards within their branch.
